"Fourteen Mules" 30 x 40 oil on linen____not availableAll of the individual studies I have posted lately, were used as reference for this painting. After I frame it, I will send it out to it's "home" at the Fourteen Mules Ranch on the East Coast. Of course, the "focal point" of the painting, is the group of mules and their reflections. See the detail of them, below....and see if you can find all fourteen mules! (I will let you know when it's on the way, M. :)
...I bet I can paint a mule with my eyes closed, now!

Beautiful, tranquil, and what fun trying to find the other 7 until I realized where they were...duh...
Hope your AC is fixed; even if the pioneers lived here without AC, they shouldn't have had to- especially this summer!
