Daisy Dog___11x14 oil on linen ___ for sewe
I painted the study for this one back in July...always having it in mind to do a larger work....I think I want to do a larger one, still. Click on the image to see a larger version.
A few days ago I was a little bit smug about shipping 230 pounds of paintings to Charleston. (Maybe you couldn't tell, but I was pretty proud of myself: first, for getting it all into just two large boxes, and second, because I, myself, lifted those big boxes into the truck to take to FedEx)...payback time happened today. I turned to see "what next" to do in my studio, and there was ONE large painting left behind...I forgot to ship it! So today, I had to take one painting to FedEx...I am mad at me for the extra shipping expense.....vvaughan8@yahoo.com

These recent paintings of dogs are brilliant V! Haven't been on line for a couple of days so am playing catch up here. Great painting and story about the hawk and the mockingbird.
I really love this one! The dog looks so happy to be trampling through that field, and I think you handled the daisies just right. I understand being frustrated at the unforeseen shipping; shipping is my least favorite part of being an artist, but I certainly can't imagine having to do 230 pounds of it at once!
Love your Daisy painting =) Oh, my - After all that work packing everything up =p Ugh! But, *whew* 230 pounds? It would be easy to miss one with all those paintings! Congrats on getting it all shipped =)
This is another beautiful painting. As said before - the daisies are just perfectly done and the dog is loving the romp through them!
Beautiful. =)
