Colorado Cliff Moonlight

Colorado Cliff Moonlight__7x5 oil study

As I get ready for this great FULL MOON WORKSHOP, I have a couple of other
"news items", below. There are two spots left for the workshop if you contact me fast!...It will be a small group, so we will do intensive study in the most beautiful location on earth! (these are great trout fishing waters, so bring a fishing buddy!)

PETS WE LOVE (a small group exhibit in support of the ASPCA)...They selected a few of my "dog works" for this special event. Click to see!

BOSQUE ART CLASSIC has accepted one of my mission paintings "From THese Walls" for the upcoming 2015 show. I'll have more on that closer to show time :)

Cabin Moonlight

Cabin Moonlight_7x5 oil study

Here is a moonlight study from the last full moon!
I painted our neighbor cabin in Colorado...spending more time memorizing the scene than actually painting it!
The NEXT full moon is a BLUE MOON, and I will lead a workshop at this same location, in southern Colorado, to teach you how to see it and paint it!
Links below will give you all the details!

Friday's Blue Moon sure looked pretty down at the Texas coast, where we spent the weekend....This little one is hanging down there, now! I delivered about 20 works to Rockport's Wind Way Gallery, where I am the guest artist for September and October. A reception is planned for Friday, Sept. 14...hope to see you there!
