Outgoings of the Morning, and detail

"Outgoings of the Morning"...24 x 30 HUGE oil on linen....reg $3500 unframed...TODAY $900
This one has a frame on it that I REALLY need for something else, so I am sort of "giving" the art away to the first one who needs a BIG painting. See price... and see detail below...
The Conejos River valley in Southwestern Colorado is our summer stomping ground and this is what it looks like that time of year. The elk come down to the river, but as soon as the morning leaves, so do they. The title of this comes from a place in the Psalms referring to God's majesty..."...You make the outgoings of the morning and the evening rejoice."...I forget which psalm, but can look it up if you want to know.
I will take this to my gallery in Colorado next month, if I do not hear from anyone, but I'd like to offer it first to "my gang", since I am clearing things out this month!...

Lovely painting, and place! Makes me think of the BBC program, "Monarch of the Glen"-my favorite tv program that is no longer on. They do have a website, though, with pictures. Molly, the artist, of course, was my favorite character, and the men running around in their kilts was good, too!
