Hill Country

Hill Country__6x8 oil study on linen panel___$150 still wet
This is an idea I like, but the outcome doesn't please me much , so I will do it again...
I have talked about the "two paintings"...one is a verb (I was PAINTING this) and the other is a noun ( this PAINTING has a lot of green). Every time I work, there are two paintings (the verb and the noun)....an artist MUST NOT judge the noun part while "verbing"....It's better to wait a few days...so I will not comment on this painting (noun), anymore :)

Wonderful! I love it! Wish I were going to Marble Falls...

You really play with words....I think I must have a second cuppa this morning before reading that bit again. Your little road scene is lovely, my country is too flat around here to find a nice winding road like that!

I know what you mean about the nouning and the verbing. It takes some distance from the verbing to really make a clear judgment on the finished-ness of the noun. Right?

Anyway. I think it is lovely, too (see above) and so miss the bluebonnets! I was in Texas too early to see many this year. When you paint them, you get to enjoy them at least twice!
