This is the state flower of Colorado, and July is the time to see them. I painted a couple of these on tiny canvases that come with tiny easels. They are little flower gems! Let me know if you want one!
Sorry I did not get the workshop rolling this year, but next July I will teach in this part of Colorado. I have some great locations lined up for artists who like to paint outdoors. I've had some of those tiny canvases and have been wondering what to do with them. Maybe I'll find some nice flowers like you did, thanks for the inspiration!
