"Cowgirl Roper"___15 x 19 oil on canvas with an AWESOME western frame__for PrescottDriving back from town in Colorado last summer, I went past the Rainbow Trout Lodge corrals and they were having a little rodeo there. I stopped, did some sketching and photographing, and got in big trouble for coming home late....and I have been ITCHING to paint from these photos...till now!
I am headed to Arizona next week for the annual Phippen Museum Western Art Show. This one will go with me.

Beautifully done! You are one prolific artist and yet the quality never suffers. Love your blog, and wish I lived close enough to take a workshop.
