Walking to Warm

"01-05-2007 Last Year on the Farm"....available for dibs
It was the sever cold tht hastenedthe selling off of the cattle last January. It was inevitable, but I had hope to paint them till the end of our time here.
The cold usually warms up by noon and the cows stay out to warm themselves in the sun. But this cold snap was so hard and so long that, staying out never made them warm. Thye should have gone into the covered places, but didn't and a few died. The rest ere sold before they died, too.
All 365 of the "Last Year on the Farm" paintings will be on display at our farm in the month of October. YOU ARE INVITED TO A SPECIAL RECEPTION on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, from 10 am till 8 pm. PLEASE e-mail me your address and I can send you a proper invitation, if you would like to come see where these were painted...before the gate is locked forever and development happens. :)
